Job Description

National Sales – Key Account Business Development for F200 Industry leader

* You must have successful record of key account sales experience (National scope is best) with multi-million dollar quotas!

* You can work from your home if close to airport, you control travel levels

The Senior Director of Business Development / Key Accounts is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial-minded individual to add value and excel with a progressive Fortune 200 company. This dynamic aggressive sales professional will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will act as a true business partner with the Sales and Marketing Leadership to deliver business results through building a brand defining customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a professional salesperson that has expertise in developing large multi-million dollar deals among Fortune 1000 industry leaders. The right candidate will be an effective leader in the creation and execution of business development strategies and has financial services industry knowledge gained through experience.

Corporate Headquarters is located in the Boston MA area. The right candidate can work from any location.

Responsibilities
* Key corporate accounts growth and major strategic account development

* Identify and develop a pipeline of prospects for very large and high impact corporate accounts, corporate partnerships, and overall large multi-million dollar deal making skills

* Create and execute business development strategies

* Coordinate and implement new product placement, promotions and tactics to grow sales

* Evaluate and develop recommendations from market and competitor analysis

* Lead the execution of strategic transactions, interacting with internal business owners, functional area representatives, senior management and external counterparties.

* Conduct periodic assessments in conjunction with annual and quarterly planning cycles to ensure development strategy, plans and tactics are aligned with business objectives

Preferred Qualifications
* Proven Strategic business analysis and partnering skills with the ability to drive at the strategic level and execute effectively at the tactical level

* 8 years experience in a sales business development position – Specific experience in health care or home improvement financial services is strongly preferred

* Proven leadership, influence and project management skills; demonstrated people management skills

* Strong communication, interpersonal and conceptual thinking skills

* Undergraduate degree from a top college or university

Basic Qualifications

4 year degree
