SALARY: $75K-$85K a year salary + commissions & bonuses.

OTE $100K - $135K+

LOCATIONS: Houston, Dallas, ATlanta. This is a WORK-FROM-HOME-office position

TERRITORY: Regional (approx 30% travel)

The Business Development Executive (BDE) is a crucial position within the organizATion as it is responsible for sales of the DedicATed Contract Services (DCS). The DCS division specializes in the design, development, and execution of supply chain solutions.

Capitalizing on advanced systems and technologies, DCS offers engineered transportATion solutions thAT support virtually any transportATion netWORK. Our client’s extensive operATional experience has allowed them to creATe value for their customers by utilizing a wide range of equipment. FROM straight trucks to flATbeds to temperATure controlled, DCS has the equipment and the expertise to provide solutions like no other.

Utilizing an integrATed, multimodal approach, they provide capacity-oriented solutions centered on delivering customer value and industry-leading service. The company was formed in 1961 and their services include: transportATion of full truckload containerizable freight and customized freight movement, revenue equipment, labor and systems services thAT are tailored to meet individual customers’ requirements and typically involve long-term contracts. Their customer base is extremely diverse and includes a large number of Fortune 500 companies.

Their ability to offer multiple services, utilizing four business segments and a full complement of logistics services through third parties, represents a competitive advantage.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Secure signed contracts with dedicATed clients thAT are acceptable to both the client and DCS management. - ATtend startup AT customer locATion.
- Present dedicATed contract carriage solution to meet clients needs.
- Successfully completing the WIN process for client pricing, equipment pricing, contract acceptance, and kick-off process.
- CoordinATe/negotiATe successfully with operATions group on client pricing, driver and management payroll, equipment domicile, equipment maintenance, etc.
- Complete the design review with client after review with the Design/Engineering group.
- Collect dATabases FROM client.
- Meet with potential customers. Review Customer Value Delivery process, develop customer confidence and make appropriATe MPACT entry.
- Follow up phone contact with new potential customers, establish meeting dATe, review of RFP, coordinATe effort with RMM in assigned territory and make MPACT entries.
- Prospect by phone, WORK with RMM’s to make contact and gain an appointment with prospective DCS customers, make MPACT entry.
- Perform general administrATive functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 1-5 years experience selling dedicATed services (i.e. providing outsourced turnkey solution thAT includes personnel, equipment etc… onsite AT client’s premises

· B.A. Degree – highly preferred but not required if you have 3+ years direct experience

· Excellent organizATional, follow-through and presentATion skills.

· Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
