Responsibilities:
Identify market potential by qualifying accounts.
Initiate sales process by phone solicitation/scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
Close sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining products and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts/account set up.
Expand sales in existing accounts by identifying additional opportunities; introducing new products and services; developing new applications.
Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring and reporting competitive products and reactions from accounts.
Update job knowledge and skills by participating in educational opportunities. This job will report into our regional Sales Director out of Chicago.
This position comes with a base salary (based on experience), generous uncapped commission structure, monthly auto allowance and cell phone. Pitney Bowes offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, Time Off with Pay, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, and much more.

Qualifications .
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Minimum 3 years outside Business-to-Business sales experience required.
Minimum 1 year Industry experience (transportation, international mail, bulk mail. pre-sort ; 3 years preferred
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
Must be highly self-motivated.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
Communication and time management skills.
Demonstrated consultative selling and closing skills.
Internal communication, informing others.
Motivation for sales, sales planning, persistence, meeting sales goals.
Ability to work from home based office.
Must have basic computer skills to include Microsoft office suite, internet explorer.
Requires 25%-50% multi-state travel
Must have reliable transportation
