Be based out of your home, live anywhere in the United States and be part of our Microsoft Traveling Team. This would be an ideal for an individual that would prefer not to relocate. A SharePoint Developer or Architect will:
Participate in complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, code and test, for Information Worker applications based on Microsoft technologies, especially .NET, web services and SQL
Assist Berbee clients with business requirements for their SharePoint and Office System based solutions. Assist with the Information Architecture: mapping, documentation, taxonomy and topology appropriate to each particular client.
Build applications using Internet and Windows Development tools. Develop web pages and applications for customers
Prepare design documents and technical papers
Deliver high-quality solutions to our customers to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives.
Five years experience with Web application development
Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer (MCSD) preferred
Technical thought-leader: invents new technologies, applications of technology, or ways to synthesize technologies and domain understanding to forge new market opportunities.
Four-year degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of the Microsoft IW principles including Office System, Smart Tags, Information Bridge, InfoPath, SharePoint Portal Server, BizTalk, and web services
Broad awareness of basic Internet, intranet, and WWW technologies, including: Inter/intra/extranet tools; Web installation, configuration and performance management; Web security and encryption
Experience with .NET servers and tools
Web site design and development experience in a Microsoft environment
Working knowledge and skills in ASP.Net, C#.Net, VBScript, and XML
Working knowledge of SQL Server 2000 with database/Web connectivity familiarity, plus database management and file access methods
