Lead VB.NET Developer - REMOTE WORK
- Corporate Location: YOUNGSTOWN/BOARDMAN, OHIO
- POSITION LOCATION: REMOTE WORK - WORK FROM HOME
- CONTRACT: 6 TO 12 +++ months
- Remote Work - SEEKING Candidates in Ohio and Pennsylvania

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years actual work experience in Client Server WEB environment.
- 4 years minimum work experience in VB.NET development with experience working within the State Government.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and project management.
- Develop and maintain internal Microsoft Web based applications.
- Perform unit, system, regression, and user acceptance testing
- Experience mentoring other software development team members
- Prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
- Four (4) years minimum solid work experience in the following:
- VB.NET
- Visual Studio 2003/2005
- Visual Sourcesafe V6 - 2005
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
- Advanced .NET development. & Net Framework v 2.0 and higher.
- Portal framework development
- ASP.NET, ADO.NET
- "Web Services, VBScript, JavaScript, IIS, SOAP.
- T/SQL & Oracle 10g including Stored Procedures, Triggers, procedures, functions, specifications, and tables
- Data migration between different database types
- XML, different XML schema specifications, and XML transformation
- XSL, XSLT, HTML, DHTML,
- CSS
- n-tier Data Layers, Business Layers, Custom Layers
- n-tier Data Controls, Business controls, Custom Controls
- Infragistics, Inheritance
- Encapsulating, Polymorphism, Tight/Loose Coupling
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA )
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- VPN & FTP - working remotely.
- Experience within the STATE GOVERNMENT
- HIPPA COMPLIANCE EXPERIENCE
A PLUS: Experience in Sharepoint 2007 development.
Certifications: One of the following (strongly desired):
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)
Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD)
* BS Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent experience.
