Are you a PHP guru who wants an entrepreneurial opportunity? We're developing a new brand of social networking!
What will you be doing?
The ideal developer will be fluent in software development. You will have expertise on website development and Internet application programming using PHP, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, XML, CSS on the LAMP (Linux / Apache / MySQL / Perl / PHP) platform.
We are a LAMP shop, utilizing redhat, apache, MySQL. The desired candidate will be a well-rounded in internet-based development tools and conversant in modern software engineering concepts.
Tasks will include analysis and design, front end/UI coding and integration, database scripting and manipulation, backend/server coding, and technical issue resolution.
What do you need?
- 4+ years PHP
- Thorough understanding of object oriented programming
- Thorough understanding of database concepts and principles (specifically with exposure to MySQL 4.x)
- Knowledge of a UNIX type operating system (preferably Linux)
- Source control with SVN or CVS
- Thorough understanding of HTML/CSS
- Knowledge and practical experience with JavaScript
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities
