Job description:
Vaco Technology is searching for C# developer for a great company in the Richmond, VA area. This position has work-from-home potential.
Responsibilities:
Work under the Chief Technology officer and architect to participate in internal and external development teams in the execution of all development initiatives
Act as a lead software developer as you work with Account Executives, development and clinical teams to design web based applications that will meet client needs and anticipate market trends
Be responsible for recommending .Net capabilities to support required feature sets, plan for and identify/address application bugs and many other key architectural and development decisions
Develop and unit test features in software products. (Approx 50% of time initially; however may lessen as internal team grows)
Provide input for software development improvement initiatives
Requirements:
4+ years hands-on programming experience leading\participating in full life-cycle OOP, n-tier projects using .NET technologies and databases like C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Web Services, SOAP, XML, XSLT, T-SQL, SQL 2000, SQL 2005, Oracle
4+ years Experience with Visual Studio.NET 2003/2005 & Visual Source Safe or other source control applications
2+ years Experience with managing and working with load balanced\clustered Windows Server 2003 server farm hardware configurations
4+ years Experience in distributed systems architecture, and SOA
4+ years Experience with different methodologies including Agile, RUP, MSP, etc
