Description
Technical sales position (Territory Manager) with a territory of Greater Houston, Southern Lousiana and the Gulf Coast.
The candidate selected for this position will work from their home office.
Primary responsibilities will be to work with engineering contacts at current and potential new customers (primarily OEMs of oilfield equipment/tools), with a focus on developing sealing solutions that meet customer needs and generate sales growth.
Requirements
Technical salesperson or design engineer with 3+ years experience in designing oilfield seals at a seal manufacturing company, or Mechanical Engineer with 2+ years oilfield experience.
Experience with sealing products (elastomers and/or engineering plastics) is a plus.
Candidates that have a strong background in this area would be considered without having a ME or technical degree.
Achievement driven with high personal and ethical standards.
Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills that will aid in customer interaction.
