Sales Representative-Corrugated Plastic Pipe
The cabreragroup , an executive search firm providing the best candidates for clients specializing in areas of petroleum, petrochemicals, plastics, biofuels, operations, logistics, liquid bulk terminals, engineering, finance, accounting, etc. All resumes are treated with strict confidentiality and discretion.
Client has been manufacturing high-density polyethylene (HDPE) corrugated drainage pipes and fittings for more than twenty years. Offering a complete line of single or double wall pipe with sizes ranging from 3 inches through 24 inches
in diameter. LOCATIONS: Florida, Texas, Georgia, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana. Drainage products for a variety of industry applications including but not exclusive to:
-Agriculture row crops, field crops, ornamental nursery crops, citrus, pecan and other (permanent row crops), sod farms
-On-site wastewater drain fields or leaching lines for septic tanks and treatment plants. Leaching lines for municipal wastewater spray fields etc.
-Highway edge drains, cross drains, slope drains &culverts
-Recreational golf courses, state and city parks. Retirement villages &condominiums. Apartment complexes.
-Baseball, football &soccer fields. Race tracks etc.
-Environmental deep trench sub-surface recovery from chemical spills. Controlled moisture removal from
mining operations. Leachate collection systems for landfills.
-Industrial lane de=watering (well point substitution for pipeline or utility installations).
-Alternative shallow-well irrigation sources, storm water collection and distribution systems.
Plant located in Houston, TX. seeks two (2) advance entry level sales people to sell corrugated plastic pipe Products. Plant located in Houston. Person will work from home. Salary is $35,000 per year base salary with a 2% commission on sale of company s mfg products. Potential is $35,000-$100,000 per year. Health benefits, 401k, company car or allowance. One (1) Texas Representative &One (1) Louisiana/Miss Representative
Traits and Characteristics:
-Extremely pro-active with a high levels of energy and drive, especially as pertains to market/customer development
-A self-starter who is able to take direction but work with minimum supervision to set and achieve aggressive targets.
-A good communicator, with good interpersonal relationship skills, throughout all levels of the company, suppliers and customers.
-Experience in industrial, construction, commercial type sales. Experience selling drainage pipes is a plus.
-Willing and capable of working out of home. Willing to travel, territory is 150 mile radius of Houston. Overnight stay may be required.
-Organized, excellent planner, establish own call list, cold call, persistent, meet company sales targets, complete sales reports on a timely basis. Expense account-for company use only.
-Must demonstrate a desire to sell either by experience and previous track record.
-Minimum high school diploma or GED.
