Description

INDEPENDENT CONTRACT RECRUITER

Full time and part time Independent Executive Recruiters for the financial services industry wanted

Position
Working from your home full time or part time as an independent, contracted recruiter focusing exclusively in the financial services industry. You will be part of our recruiting partner team for the most prestigious recruiting firm in the financial services industry. Please see our website at http://www.rjandmakay.com.

Description
We already have contracts with the top firms in our industry, more open positions and opportunities than we can handle, and the prospects to contact. We are looking for an ambitious, talented and entrepreneurial recruiter who would like to own his or her own recruiting business and partner with us.

You would own your own business but will be plugged in to our system. You would be calling the prospects that we provide you for the clients we already have and would be calling on behalf of the most respected names in the financial services industry. All calls are made at our prospects places of business during normal business hours.

Consultative sales
You will be calling the prospects we provide you and ask them if they would be open to meeting with a representative of any one of the top clients we represent. For those who are willing, you will simply ask them a few basic questions, fill out a profile form, and submit their information to us. We handle the rest. We set up the first interview, manage the interview process, negotiate transition packages, billing, everything. You are provided with daily updates on the progress and status of your candidates.

Compensation
You would not be an employee and therefore would not be paid like an employee. You would own your own business and reap the financial benefits of receiving large split fees for placements that are made.

There are 2 compensation options. In option #1 you can receive a split fee on the total fee we receive or in option #2 you can receive payment for every first meeting you set up.

Option#1
Your share of our average fee per placement usually ranges from $10,000 to $30,000 each but can be slightly lower or even much higher. This is a prospecting business and like all prospecting ventures it is a numbers game; you get proportionally rewarded for the more you put into it. If you are working full time at this we expect you to have 5 to 7 placements in your first 15 months.

Option#2
For those that take the pay per appointment option the average full time recruiter makes about $200 per day. Typically in this scenario about 1 appointment per day is being set.

No upfront cost to you
This is not a get rich scam where you fork out hundreds or thousands of dollars on some pipedream that never comes true. There is NO initial or ongoing financial investment required. Your ongoing costs will only consist of internet access, designated phone line with unlimited long distance plan (many local phone companies provide unlimited long distance for a reasonable flat rate) and basic office supplies.

Training
We provide you with a comprehensive training manual and audible training tools. We are here to help for any questions and clarifications you may need during your training period. After you have studied the materials and feel you are ready, we do a competency evaluation with you to make sure that you are able to contract with us. The training primarily consists of overview information on the financial services industry as it pertains to the position we recruit for and the most effective ways to communicate with potential candidates.

This may be for you
Recruiting isn t for everyone; neither is prospecting. It takes the right kind of personality, ambition and mindset to consistently make cold calls day after day. You do not have to be an expert in financial services; that s our job. You are not even trying to convince candidates to switch firms; that s our job as well. We are looking for business owners to contract with us to cold call the prospects we provide them and ask them if they would be open to just having a meeting with one of our clients. We don t twist arms, and we are not pushy. We simply are providing a consultative service.

If you are the right person, this may be the most fulfilling and financially rewarding endeavor you have ever tried. Working from your home wearing whatever you want (however a headset is mandatory!). No long commutes to work, no corporate ladder, no ceiling on your income, no micro management, and no evenings or weekends.

Things to consider
Although you are provided with prospects, this is cold calling. We do not know if they are interested or not until we call them.
Owning your own work from home business takes a certain mindset and self- discipline that not everyone has.
All business is conducted through the phone, on our database and by email. You would not have face-to-face interaction with your prospects or candidates.
Although this is primarily a consultative role, basic phone sales skills will substantially enhance your success potential.
You are not an employee. You are not provided with a salary, draw or benefits.
Like any start up business it takes time to get rolling. Typically our recruiting contractors do not see their first check until about their fifth month. But once their first check comes, they have a full pipeline of candidates behind that first placement in varying stages of the interview process. So, although it does take time to ramp up, once you have, you can then be getting more regular checks based upon your placements. You will need to be able to support yourself during the ramp up period.

Successful profiles
Currently the recruiting contractors we contract with come from all kinds of different backgrounds, careers and regions of the country. Not always, but typically speaking, the most successful recruiting contractors we have fall in one of the 4 following categories:

Stay at home parents. Parents working from home during the time that their children are in school. Many of these contractors used to be in the rat race but took off to have a child or children and want to have a high profile and high income potential career but refuses to re-enter the corporate world.

Experienced salespeople. Those that have experience cold calling customers. Many of these contractors had prior success in phone sales but no longer wanted to work evenings or weekends and did not want to call people at their homes anymore.

Experienced recruiters. Those who have recruited in other industries but wanted to own their own work from home recruiting business with no caps on their income. The experienced recruiter-contractors we have that do exceptionally well love the prospecting side of recruiting and enjoy not having to source the prospect, find the job order, set up the first interview or manage the interview process yet still receive more than 1/3 of the fee.

Financial Advisors and Insurance Professionals. Those who have had experience in cold calling clients for financial or insurance products and services. Our contractors who are successful with this background like having unlimited prospects to call provided to them and are comfortable recruiting for the positions they used to do.
