LOCATION: Anywhere, USA Chemical Process Technology company has IMMEDIATE NEED for several Principle Engineers/Startup Engineers with 15+ years of both Technical and Plant Operations experience in the chemical process, petrochemical, or pulp and paper industry. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Process Engineer or Production Engineer involved in ethanol, distillation, evaporation, and/or separation processes. You need a BSChE or BSME degree. You will lead the efforts on 3-4 process plant startups each year and be responsible for after-market technical support on process plant with existing customers. This is a high profile position and requires excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be responsible for plant startups and plant optimization for chemical process plants, as well as provide follow-up customer service and technology retrofits as required. This is a field based position and requires you to travel a minimum of 50% of the time. When you are not traveling you can work from home, no relocation required. You need to be able to review PandIDs and equipment layouts to ensure they are accurate and optimized. You must be a self-starter, have tenacity, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work under the pressures of an operational setting. You need to have hands on experience with operating and maintaining the following equipment: distillation systems, dehydration systems, pumps, heat exchangers, centrifuges, evaporators, dryers, milling and conveying equipment. Any experience with chemical engineering process simulation software such as ASPEN, ChemCAD or a similar tool would be a plus.
