Job Description;
Imagine yourself.
-Working from home.
-Typing hospital reports including progress notes, history and physicals, consults, operative reports, discharge summaries, emergency reports as well has rehab.
-Working for an organization that offers hospital-sponsored continuing education courses as well as further education through outside courses.
-With an opportunity to enhance your acute care knowledge within a large healthcare system.
General Qualifications; High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a medical transcription or medical secretarial course.
Minimum one year of experience directly related to medical transcription in a hospital setting. .
Desired Qualifications; Membership in the American Association for Medical Transcription and/or Certified Medical Transcriptionist status would be a definite asset .
