Description
Marketing Professional needed to take charge of an exciting market segment and create Aetna Individual Market s strategy to win. Call them the Young Immortals, Generation Y or 20-somethings, but there are 15 million of them and many of them are uninsured and should be buying Individual coverage.
Consumer expertise a must. Understand underlying business issues; accurately use data to analyze business situations and identify growth opportunities. Utilizing a full range of marketing tools must be able build metric based marketing plans; heavily internet based to reach the target; must know how to get things done across a full range of disciplines (product, pricing, promotion, advertising, internet strategy) with you as the quarterback.
Full time position; possible future Work at Home.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Manager will drive strategies and initiatives to build long term brand equity; create profitable consumer/customer demand to hit this year's numbers. Requires priority setting for maximum business results; true leadership; initiative and follow through; creativity with innovation; excellent people skills; ability to work effectively with other departments;
highest level of integrity.
Working with Product Development and Actuary develop a competitive product portfolio
Develop go-to market strategy including all marketing programs and supporting materials
Work with Aetna.com to devise a cutting edge website to market to Generation Y; create programs/partnerships to drive traffic/membership growth
Additionally, position will have responsibility for the consumer website experience for all targeted segments; website strategy for all of Aetna Individual Market begins here.
Work with top notch agencies to develop brand building, lead generating programs, increase Aetna Individual Market awareness and create cutting edge materials, including all brochures and sales collateral; agency management critical
Create direct-to-consumer marketing programs that are metric based, measured constantly, and improved continuously
Support all brokers marketing efforts against Generation Y
Be the Generation Y expert by being immersed in the segment, fielding research to gain real consumer insight and gathering competitive information to help create the foundation of our strategy and to guarantee the effectiveness of our tactics

Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field; MBA a plus
-3-6 years marketing experience; some insurance would be great
-Experience in agency management and managing creative development
-Some people management or experience partnering with other departments is key
-Must be internet savvy; enthusiasm around the web experience is very important
-Direct-to-consumer marketing experience in related industries
