Life Sciences AND Financial Pre-Sales Consultant -
Compensation Base - $120K / Plan - $150K
Location NY/NJ area

The company has been delivering industry-leading, high-ROI solutions to thousands of companies in financial services, life sciences, biotechnology, telecommunications, and manufacturing, plus government and research institutions, for more than 15 years.
Responsibilities -
Working closely with the Financial or Life Sciences sales organization.
Handling all technical communications in support of the sales cycle to help prospect for, qualify and close large software and service opportunities.
Working closely with professional services and product and sales management to identify key market application areas to target, and then develop and deliver technical sales tools for these identified market areas.
Participation is required in proof-of-concepts for customers, trade shows, seminars and other events, and working with channel partners.
Working from a home virtual office
Requirements
5+ years of statistical/data analysis experience in Financial or Life Sciences
5+ years experience as a sales engineer or consultant with a proven track record in supporting complex sales cycles.
Experience in developing &presenting technical subject matter &strong technical knowledge of statistical/data analysis &reporting.
Knowledge of commercial data analysis packages and good commercial awareness required.
Competency in databases (SQL, Oracle), programming languages (C, S, Java) and operating systems (Windows 2000 &2003, UNIX, Linux).
