background screening services. We provide Federal, state and local
government agencies and major corporations with thorough results, often
in situations where timing is critical.
As an Intermittent SPIN Investigator, you will be in a position of trust,
a role that requires integrity, confidentiality, intensity, commitment
and pride in your country s security.
Intermittent SPIN Investigators must provide a minimum availability for
assignments of twenty hours per week, and will be paid $25.00 per hour. The
length of service is expected to last between 6 and 12 months and will be
determined by the workload in the area you are hired for. The
Intermittent SPIN Investigator position may lead to other opportunities

You ll find that every day is different. Intermittent SPIN
Investigators spend approximately 75% of their time traveling.
They complete record searches and conduct face-to-face interviews to
gather information about applicants seeking federal security
clearances.
USIS training process for this position would be through a one-week e-training
course within your local office followed by on the job training. The training is
intense, but prepares our Intermittent SPIN Investigators to handle one
of the most challenging and important careers available today.
Intermittent SPIN Investigators work from
home, set their own schedules and predominantly work
alone. Successful Intermittent SPIN Investigators, are
self-motivated, highly independent, and prepared to work
non-traditional hours (i.e. evenings and weekends).
We are looking for professionals with:
Superior organizational and time management skills
Advanced communication in both oral and writing skills
Strong computer and typing skills for writing narrative reports of
investigation
Bachelor s degree or 36 months comparable work/military
experience
USIS Intermittent SPIN Investigators are derived from a multitude
of backgrounds. Some of our most successful investigators are from
the liberal arts, hotel management, social work,
homemaking, military, journalism, and claims adjusting fields. If
you have the ability to talk to anyone, you may qualify to be eligible for the
Intermittent SPIN Investigator position.
