Our client in Dallas, TX has an immediate 4+ month contract opening for a Implementation Engineer. This position requires experience with system administration or application administration in a mid-market/large market IT shop of greater than 250 end-user seats. Must be able to articulate and display an understanding of application architecture, including individual components, multiple tiers, physical and logical security, disaster recovery objectives and planning, as well as best practices and operational maturity. Must have experience with Windows, IIS, AD, Exchange, SQL Admin, Clustering, HP, and Storage/SANs, as well as IP networking, data networking, troubleshooting and root cause determination, migration of platform/application/data, and shrink wrap applications. Must have excellent leadership and organization, presentation, written and verbal communication.Will be responsible for serving as a technical resource on projects executed by the Implementation organization in either a lead role or a subordinate role depending on the needs of the project. Will be expected to provide guidance on requirements gathering from customer, assist in the architecture of the solution, review design prior to generation of proposal and contract, act as a consultant to the Sales Engineer during the sales cycle, review Contract and Statement of Work for customer projects to ensure technical accuracy, develop detailed technical diagram drawing for new customers and complex projects, own changes to the technical diagram for the life of the Implementation project, coordinate changes to technical diagrams with provisioning and the Project Manager, and own the engineering details and changes for assigned implementation projects.
Required Experience
Experience with Implementation Engineering
Experience with System Administration or Application Administration
Experience with Windows, IIS, AD, Exchange, SQL Admin, Clustering, HP, Storage/SANs, as well as IP networking, data networking, troubleshooting and root cause determination, migration of platform/application/data, shrink wrap applications
Certifications include Microsoft MCSE or MCDBA, HP ASE/Certified professional, Cisco CCNA/CCIE, and Citrix
Bachelors Degree in IT or MIS
PREFERRED - Experience with HP Sever (ProLiant) and EVA
Microsoft, VMWare ESX Server Operating Systems
Hewlett Packard, Cisco, F5 and NetScaler
