Job Description:
My client, a dynamic leader within their industry, is actively
seeking a high performing Environmental, Health, &Safety
Professional to oversee multiple facilities in Wisconsin and
Illinois. Incumbent must have a minimum 5-7 years work
experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Must be a
leader with strong people skills. Technical knowledge in OSHA
1910 and EPA regulations, including TSCA, SARA, RCRA, CAA and
CWA is a must. Knowledge of Wisconsin DNR and Illinois IEPA
regulations is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be degreed and have experience with
activity based safety management, including behavior based
safety programs. The individual must be a change agent and know
how to positively influence the way people think about safety at
work and at home. Computer literacy is important. Experience
with OSHA VPP and ISO 14000 is also desirable. Candidates should
possess or have the ability to obtain CHMM and CSP
certifications.
