As a Brokered Loan Account Executive with U.S. Bank, you will: Develop and maintain broker wholesale/referral sources, marketing to, and training referral sources on U.S. Bank products and services. Identifies and qualifies sales opportunities and develops new business with both existing customers and prospects. Understands and effectively applies selling techniques to open, develop, and close sales; actively cross-sell appropriate banking and investment products and services. Provides service to customers and prospects seeking residential mortgage loans. Determines creditworthiness, analyzes risk, arranges for appraisal and title searches, approves or rejects loans, and monitors loans to ensure conformity to terms. Defines quality service based on customer needs, wants, and expectations; resolves problems quickly and effectively. Keeps informed of trends and developments in the real estate market and new and changing rules and mortgage-related regulations.

Requirements:
While we expect that you?ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require:
3-5 years experience as a Wholesale Account Executive. Familiarity with mortgage lending standards in the alternative mortgage business. Extensive knowledge of business development techniques, sales development and planning within the mortgage lending industry. Excellent sales ability, a positive attitude, a strong desire to succeed and a proven ability to work within a 100% commission sales position. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability work effectively in a team or independently
