Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Working in your assigned territory, you will target government and educational entities. You will prospect for new business through telephone sales and outside sales activities including, cold calling, territory planning and relationship building. You will be responsible for developing new business in the territory, as well as, growing existing business. You will be responsible for the protection and growth of assigned revenue stream. You will cultivate solid account relationships and drive customer satisfaction. This is a work from home position. The candidate should live in a capital city within their assigned territory.

SOME OF THE DUTIES INCLUDE:
Achieve/exceed monthly sales targets and gross profit quota.
Responsible for multiple accounts, including managing total sales and customer satisfaction.
Prospects and makes executive calls to build upon business potential within the territory.
Responsible for developing relationships with field publisher partners to work on leads and opportunities (both from SSI and publishers).
Gathers and builds upon account information to leverage sales, generate additional sales, and improve upon the business relationship.
Assists management in developing approaches to address account challenges and opportunities. Involves management to review key situations.
Qualifies accounts for significant company business potential.
Gains commitment from key influencers and executives to demonstrate a business partnership with company. Participates in significant company events and seminars.
Leverages resources to provide added value to customers in order to maintain excellent customer satisfaction. Inform customers about company program benefits and implements where appropriate.
Maintains account management information to key accounts, including annual reviews. Keeps information up-to-date for management account review on a regular basis.

Requirements
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION, YOU MUST:
Have a Bachelors degree
Be a sales hunter with heavy prospecting experience
Enjoy the thrill of the sale and closing deals
Be skilled in utilizing the consultative selling approach. Use your excellent analytical skills to assess, understand and translate customer needs into business potential.
Have experience in B2B sales of a technology product, such as, software, hardware, peripherals, wireless or IT commodity sales

OTHER SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THIS POSITION:
Experience selling to government and educational entities is a big plus
Have demonstrated ability to effectively present, interact with and negotiate with all organizational levels
Be able to effectively work autonomously and succeed with minimal supervision
Be skilled in planning, organizing, and managing time across multiple tasks
Have excellent customer service skills.
Be able to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking
Be experienced using a PC including Microsoft Office
