Job Description
My client, an industry leading, worldwide manufacturer of premium outdoor power equipment is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the state of New Jersey. This is an exciting, growing company with a dynamic work environment offering a compensation package (base salary, sales commission and yr end bonus). No cap on commissions. Plus company vehicle, demo equipment, mobile phone and laptop computer.This is a work from a home office position and can be located anywhere in New Jersey.The successful candidate will add value for Retailers and company by cultivating a Total Source business relationship that facilitates each business partners growth, optimal performance, and success. Secure and develop new dealers that help meet sales and market-share goals for the territory. Plan, enhance, and measure the performance of assigned dealers. Service dealers and be prepared for daily travel, with overnight travel as required. Essential Requirements1. Develop a plan to increase company brand position in assigned territory. 2. Gain Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) dealers commitment &orders 3. Make planned dealer-calls and chronicle the discussions and outcomes of the visits. 4. Demonstrate equipment and provide product application learning opportunities. 5. Facilitate the success of sales, marketing, and promotional campaigns. 6. Acquaint dealers with the latest selling techniques. 7. Be familiar with dealer inventory levels and provoke adjustments as required. 8. Present at trade, industry, and dealer shows. 9. Call on designated National Retailers. Preferred Qualifications: Qualified applicants must demonstrate a verifiable record of high performance and exceptional reliability in outside sales. Candidates should have a working knowledge of 2 and 4-cycle engine technology supported by sales, cold calling, and closing skills. Presentation skills and computer/software acumen are a must.
