JOB SUMMARY
Equity Lending Account Executives are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local mortgage brokers in order to generate Home Equity Loans. Duties include developing a territory, making regular sales calls and servicing mortgage brokers to maximize sales volume for Home Equity Loans. Our goal is to provide clients, internal and external, the best service in the industry and long term profitable relationships. Our sales team will achieve this goal through leadership by example, possessing and constantly demonstrating positive attitudes, possessing superior program knowledge and being effective communicators.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

% OF TIME

Provide world class service to all internal and external clients
Possess excellent sales experience and marketing skills
Call on Mortgage Brokers for the purpose of originating Home Equity Loans
Assist brokers in pre-qualify loan applicants for Equity Loans
Possess superior product, industry, and competition knowledge
Excellent communicator
Professionally represent First Horizon and market Equity Loan product line
Keep pace with industry changes including technology, marketing and products
Be self-disciplined and self-motivated
Work from home or branch office with minimal supervision
Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with mortgage brokers and others
Monitor performance of brokers
Meet established Equity Lending goals and objectives
Achieve superior sales performance by creating value in our products and services
Provides market data and other information as needed to management to help grow market share
Prepares necessary paperwork in order to approve wholesale brokers
Provides assistance and support as necessary to external and internal clients

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

An Equity Lending Account Executive is expected to develop and maintain a working knowledge in the following areas:
All First Horizon Equity Lending products and services
Pricing Policy
Competitor s Products/Pricing/Service
Sales Skills (subsequent to training)
Internal Workflow
Company provide value-added seminars
First Horizon computer systems and websites (including E-mail)
Ability to work within corporate environment required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: HS Graduate, College degree preferred, but not required

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 2 years mortgage experience as Mortgage Broker, Wholesale Account Executive, Loan Officer, Processor, Underwriter or other related mortgage experience including Sub-prime or A- experience.
