* Project Description and Tasks 24x7 Production/steady state Websphere MQ and
Websphere Message Broker administration for customer business critical
applications.
Job description:
Work as a member of a highly skilled team of Websphere MQ and Websphere Message
Broker specialists supporting MQ customers, commercial and internal, including
production/steady state support, implementation, and integration. Providing
installation, configuration, customization, tailoring in production, test, and
development environments. Providing 24x7 shift support. Providing problem
determination and resolution, and change implementation adhering to problem and
change management processes. 4-level experience (2 years) in MQ and WBI
administration on two or more of the following platforms: IBM mainframe (MVS,
OS/390, zOS), or Unix/AIX, or Windows, or AS/400
* Special Skill Requirements: Websphere MQ, Websphere Message Broker
Additional Comments:
This position can be for work at home . after initial one week training at a site
to be determined. We will provide a laptop. The contractor will need to provide
work phone, high speed internet connectivity, and cell phone with text messaging
(pager). If contractor doesn't have a cell phone, then we can provide a pager.
No benefits are available.
