Job Description .
Seisan is seeking to fill a web developer position. We are seeking a detail oriented, motivated, self starter with high levels of organization and a strong motivation to learn. This individual must maintain a high standard of quality while working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working within tight deadlines. You would be an integral part of the software development cycle, involved in various areas including development, design, documentation, deployment and support.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing the presentation layer by coding web based applications and complex user interfaces to meet user requirements. The candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies and software languages.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related major
Strong communication and organization skills
Exceptional problem solving skills
Web Scripting Languages: ASP.net (C# and VB.net), Java and PHP
Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript (AJAX), CSS, DHTML, XML
Experience with end-user interface design
Relational Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and mySQL
Working Knowledge of Windows, Mac OSX and Linux operating systems
Ability to collect and organize development requirements and specifications
Image Manipulation with Photoshop a plus
Macromedia Flash (including FLEX) a plus
Experience with Server Configuration IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etc.
Experience with popular APIs such as MapQuest Advantage API, Google Maps, etc.
