RADIOLOGY TRANSCRIPTION
Seeking skilled applicant to fill immediate ON-SITE Full-time position in outpatient radiology setting.
o The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience.
o Radiology transcription experience is preferred.

The Transcriptionist is responsible for transcribing all dictated reports generated by the Radiologists. Transcribe, copy and mail all dictated reports. Transcriptionist will also fax reports when requested.
This position will transcribe dictated recordings into medical reports, correspondence, and other administrative material. Key text into a personal computer, editing as necessary for grammar and clarity. The documents eventually become part of patients permanent files.
Candidate must have training in medical transcription, and have an Understanding of Medical Fundamentals and Diagnostic Procedures, Grammar &Punctuation Style, Editing, Structure, Function, and Terms Associated with Radiology, Speed &Accuracy, Word Structure, Pronunciation of Terms, and Abbreviations, Pathology, Anatomy, and Pharmacology.
