assignment available for a SQL Server DBA.

Job Title: SQL Server DBA

Job Location: Austin, TX (You may be able to work from home but you must reside
in TX.)

Job Duration: 12 months

SQL Server DBA "Skill requirements for this position include, but are not
limited to: SQL Server installation experience on Unix and Windows; physical
database administration as well as scripting; database backups using native
backup methods and third party tools; restore databases; run DBCCs; space
monitoring and maintenance. Also a good working knowledge of database problem
determination and resolution is required. Must have strong experience in
database performance tuning, implementation of new databases, maintenance for
existing databases, implementation and maintenance of security and database
monitoring activities. scripting and a working knowledge of Sybase/SQL Server
client products is required. College degree or equivalent experience. Experience
with PeopleSoft on Sybase and SQL server Unisys tool Agile is a plus.
