Software Testing Analyst

Description
The Software Testing Analyst is responsible for performing complex functional, application, regression and performance testing for the TMS Family of Products. These tasks requiring planning, scheduling, testing, and defect tracking to assure that the products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. The Analyst communicates with product developers and technical support specialists on product issues.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
1. Perform complex functional, application, regression and performance tests on the TMS Family of Products.
2. Perform necessary product testing to determine if a problem is an application issue, user issue, training issue, data issue, or bug.
3. Create, update and review test plans to ensure that the procedures follow the defined standards. Ensure that the test scripts are in depth and cover all aspects of the product.
4. Create detailed documentation of defects and how to recreate an issue so that a Developer can recreate the scenario using the documentation.
5. Perform Call Center support as assigned. Responsibilities include, communicate directly with customers via phone, e-mail and remote diagnostics to identify, reproduce and resolve customer reported application and technical issues for the TMS product lines, Business Decisions Crystal Reports, ComponentOne and other partner applications such as the PanGo Locator product.
6. Create and modify advanced customer reports using the TMS Reporting tools for Advanced Reports, Crystal Reports, and ComponentOne Report Writer.
7. Support, install, train, and troubleshoot TMS WorkGroup, TMS Plus, TMS Enterprise, TMS OnLine, and their associated add-on modules.
8. Support, install, train, and troubleshoot iTMS and TMS v.3.0 and their associated add-on modules.
9. Support, install, train, and troubleshoot TMS Locator.
10. Write, select, update, and delete SQL statements to modify customer data.
11. Act as an account manager with assigned accounts, which may include regularly scheduled conference calls, being proactive with reviewing client accounts and touching base with primary contacts.
12. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1. Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
2. Superior verbal and written communication skills - must be fluent in English.
3. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
4. Experience with LAN and Web based applications.
5. Working knowledge of IIS, COM Components, MS Access, MS SQL Server 2000, Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 OS, and Networking.
6. Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 2000 workstation and server and Windows 2003 server.
7. Bachelor s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
8. Prior customer service experience and troubleshooting skills.
9. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
10. Experience working in or managing, hospital plant operations or clinical engineering departments a plus.
11. If applicable, remote home office that meets or exceeds the FRSoft work at home standards.
12. Desire to continually learn new technology and updated TMS product lines.
