Senior Security Analyst - Telecommute position

Washington, DC
Summary:
This is a full time 40-hour per week salaried position. Employee will regularly work from home with 2-3 days travel per week to Washington, DC required for client meetings and on site work.
Directs all computer security procedures and issues. Conducts risks assessments, technical configuration determinations, and security procedures. Conducts planning, cost analysis and implementation of all aspects of computer security. Performs resident expert functions in all information security areas. Manages the designs, development, implementation and support of all computer security policy, procedures, and systems.
Advises, participates and supports projects and teams in the technical analysis of large complex systems in defining systems and software architecture. Uses experience and knowledge in engineering tools and techniques to assist in developing agency guidance for information projects in testing and evaluation, certification and accreditation, and other information software engineering subjects. Establishes system information requirements using analysis of the information engineers in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of work flows, organization, and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.
Work experience requirements:
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience using engineering tools and techniques, structured analysis, design methodologies and tools in the design, development and support of large complex information systems. An advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline may be substituted for two years of experience.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a position of public trust with the US Government (requires fingerprints and background check).
Education Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, and Physics or in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.
