We are a Mortgage BANKING office looking for EXPERIENCED loan officers who desire a better work environment, more money and a great atmosphere.
About SCL Mortgage
SCL Mortgage is a MORTGAGE BANKER...not brokers and we are currently licensed in over 35 states and will be licensed in Nevada by the winter. Our company started in 1991 with this office as the first branch in Chicago. Our NEW office is located in the popular Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.
As a Mortgage Banker we lend our own money so there is no need to disclose YSP on the GFE. A-Paper; Subprime; Commercial. We're also Correspondent Lenders for WAMU, Well Fargo, Countrywide, Aurora Loan Services, CitiMortgage, GMAC, National City and many others. In addition we are in the development stages of creating our own marketing company for mortgage leads.
About the Mortgage Lending Position
As also Correspondent Lenders we underwrite and close for the above lenders in-house!! And we're paid a Service Release Premium on top of YSP!! You can average another 0.5-1.0 full point additional on pricing!!! This means you have the ability to beat ANY broker's rates hands down. No more overnighting files to the above lenders to be underwritten. We do it all and CLOSE the loan in-house. This alone shaves about 7 days off the time needed to close your loans. Real estate agents love it.
We use a web-based loan origination software which means you can work from home if you like or anywhere that has a connection to the internet. No more inconveniently coming to the office just to check on a file.
We provide an electronic signature service for new 1003 applications. Get a client signed without ever leaving the office. Clients can sign electronically right from their home or office computer. Totally paperless!! Clients LOVE it.
Ever had a client miss an approval or a better rate by a few FICO points? We offer a 72hr credit repair service!! Clean up credit report errors in days...not months.

Requirements
You either need to be LICENSED by the State of IL or in the process of completing your requirements.
You should have SUPERB networking skills and be a veteran self-starter. Those with little experience but with a strong network will be given consideration on a case-by-case basis.
