This is a full time 40-hour per week salaried position. Employee will regularly work from home with 2-3 days travel per week to Washington, DC required for client meetings and on site work.
Develops, drafts, revises, and edits reports, articles, manuals, specifications, presentation materials, and other technical documents, using rough outlines and materials. Interprets information obtained through research and provided by technical specialists. Applies knowledge of documentation content and format standards to prepare, edit, and publish technical materials.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Reviews all computer security procedures and issues. Review risks assessments, technical configuration determinations, and security procedures. Review planning, cost analysis and implementation of all aspects of computer security. Reviews the designs, development, implementation and support of all computer security policy, procedures, and systems.
Work experience requirements:
Five (5) years of experience performing the foregoing technical writing/editing functions. At least two (2) years of the individual*s foregoing total experience must have consisted of performing technical writing/editing functions, preferably in the IT Security field.
Education Requirements: A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Four (4) years* experience may be substituted for a Bachelor*s Degree. A CISSP is a plus.
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a position of public trust with the US Government (requires fingerprints and background check).
