The Sheraton Chicago Hotel &Towers and the Westin Chicago River North, known as the River Connection, are currently seeking a professional and focused individual to fill the role of Part-Time Sales Telemarketer. The Sheraton Chicago Hotel &Towers boasts 1209 guest rooms and 120,000 square feet of beautifully appointed meeting space. It is the midwest's leading convention property and is situated on the Chicago River close to Navy Pier. The Westin Chicago River North is a sophisticated four-star, four-diamond property with 400 rooms and approximately 40,000 square feet of banquet space. Both are members of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, the hospitality industry's leader in innovation and service.
Because of the size of each property and the nature of the Chicago market, this position requires a very aggressive and passionate personality. The ideal candidate will be revenue-driven and guest-focused, and must be able to juggle a great deal of sales leads and prospect for new leads.
Responsibilities include:
Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation and written communication.
Work in cooperation with Sales Managers in order to book business and generate contracts.
Requirements
High school degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous hotel sales experience preferred.
