assignment available for an Oracle DBA.

Job Title: Oracle DBA

Job Location: Austin, TX (You may be able to work from home but you must reside
in TX.)

ranging from application development to storage strategies to desktop

Job Duration: 12 months

Oracle DBA Skill requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:
Oracle 10g installation experience on Unix/Windows; physical database
administration on Unix/windows as well as scripting; database backups &
recovery; restore databases; run reorgs; analyze, space monitoring. Also a good
working knowledge of database problem determination and resolution is required.
Must have strong experience in database performance tuning, implementation of
new databases, maintenance for existing databases, implementation and
maintenance of security and database monitoring activities. Unix/Windows
scripting and a working knowledge of Oracle's Enterprise Manager Console is
required. College degree or equivalent experience. Experience with Peoplesoft
running on Oracle 10g is a plus.
