Our client, a software solutions leader, is currently looking for an IT Software Sales Engineer for the California Territory. This person ideally, will work from home 3 days a week and travel to LA county, San Diego and Orange County areas two days a week.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position requires a polished and proven sales professional with experience supporting multiple Sales Representatives meet their sales goals by providing both on-site and Web-based presentations, demos and discussions. This Sales Engineer will help prospects understand how our products work technically, how to apply our products to their IT related issues, and the benefits associated with our line of products. This person will also conduct Regional Seminars and assist with Regional Trade Shows.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
Four - Six years experience working in an IT environment or software/hardware technical support.
Program managment skills a plus.
Working knowledge of all Windows platforms, MS SQL, IIS and other back office tools required.
Knowledge of current and prospective clients within region for which we are seeking the candidate.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% is a must! Average 2 nights away from home; No Weekend Travel.
Must be self motivated with good time mgmt skills.
Four-year College Degree strongly preferred.
