GENEX, a premier managed care company is currently seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager (RN) in the Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Daytona Beach areas.
As a Medical Case Manager with GENEX, you will enjoy a satisfying career and the opportunity to work independently. Through daily consultations with physicians, employers and injured workers, you will coordinate medical services while facilitating the rehabilitation process.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for assessment, planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals involved in the medical case management process. Works as an intermediary between carriers, attorneys, medical care providers, employers and employees to ensure appropriate and cost-effective healthcare services and a medically rehabilitated individual who is ready to return to an optimal level of work and functioning.
REQUIREMENTS: Diploma, A.S. degree or B.S. degree in nursing required. 2+ years clinical nursing experience required. Case Management and/or Workers compensation-related experience preferred. Registered nurse with current, valid state licensure required. CCM, CDMS, CRRN OR COHN REQUIRED/FLORIDA QRP ELIGIBILITY A MUST. **SPANISH-SPEAKING A DEFINITE PLUS** Valid driver s license required. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, phone manners and organizational skills. Ability to set priorities and work independently is essential. Computer literacy also required.
