Job Description
Business Development Manager
Are you a top sales person in your PLM or CAE software company? Are you looking for an opportunity to shine, if so this opportunity is for you.
What you will be doing:
* Close business
* You will meet directly with customers
* Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
* Assisting in contract negotiations.
* Managing a complex, solution sale with a 3 to 12 month purchasing cycle, moving opportunities through the entire sales process and beyond.
* Travel as much as 50%
What you will need:
* Bachelors degree required, preferable in engineering or science
* 3+ years experience selling engineering software such as CAE or PLM is required
* Successful achievement of 1M quotas, consultative enterprise/solution or technical sales
* Ability to manage a pipeline of 50+ accounts at any given time
* Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers
* Experience using the CRM tool (Salesforce.com) to enter all sales information.
* Live within 1 hour of a major airport
