POSITION SUMMARY

The business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for the development and capture of new service business. Working closely with the direct sales force, and channel partners, the BDM is responsible for developing, presenting, identifying and tracking service sales opportunities, working with the Proposal team to co-ordinate RFI/RFP responses, creating sales contracts (SOWs, Schedules, etc.) and managing the sales contracts process and going on-site to sell these services as required. In addition, the BDM will assist in building and enhancing the Professional Services sales processes and procedures. The individual hill help crate, maintain and distribute metrics as part of a continuous improvement process and report the metrics to the PS Management solutions in front of clients and deliver a high impact service value proposition to our potential clients.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lead scoping sessions and to accurately scope out engagements.

Ability to work with multiple internal and external organizations in coordinating resources and schedules, and in resolving sales and technical problems.

Must have the ability to track and analyze each sales opportunity, and develop strategies for closing each opportunity.

Must be capable of evaluating customer requirements, and providing accurate estimates of services required to meet customer needs.

Must have knowledge of TRIRIGA s Momentum Platform and 9 applications.

Must also have skills in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Access.

Must have good analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and set priorities. Strong attention to detail and timely follow through.

Experience in a Professional Services environment.

Must have experience with ERP or database information systems and web-based technologies and 5 years of professional experience, selling into &managing multiple projects simultaneously.

EDUCATION

Requires a minimum of a BS degree in a technology or related field.
