Traveling Cisco Network Engineer Job Description:
TEK systems is in the market for a strong Cisco Network Engineer with strong routing/switching experience for a contract to hire opportunity in Phoenix.
This position is with a large hospitality company and would require someone to work autonomously from home to support and troubleshoot networks at their locations nationwide and in Mexico; when installations or hands on work is required there will be travel necessitating excellent customer service skills in a client-facing environment. Responsibilities include network design, troubleshooting and support. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong systems and network background as well as the desire to excel in telephony; any work with Avaya is a plus.
This position will require a drug/background/DMV check as well as a passport or the ability to receive one for the travel (which will be about 50% of assignment).
