Technical Consultant
Intercim, Inc. a leading Manufacturing Execution System solution provider that develops
and applies software to improve manufacturing and its associated processes, presents an opportunity for a Technical Consultant. The successful candidate will utilize our unique blend of products, technology, professional services and industry expertise to ensure customer process execution and product quality success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all technical aspects of the software implementation project including installation, configuration, testing, and deployment
Assembly/Building of ASP.NET Web Pages
Perform customer training as required by project
Document implementation design and testing procedures
Identify and resolve technical issues and conflicts
Identify and manage technical dependencies
Track technical milestones, deliverables, and risk
Communicate project technical status to multiple levels of the organization and with customers
Provide post-production support as required by project
QUALIFICATIONS:
A.A.S. Degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience
Experience and Knowledge in XML
Experience and Knowledge in HTML
Experience and Knowledge with VisualStudio.NET
Experience using C# and JavaScript
Experience with IIS, MSMQ, COM+
Experience working with Windows 2000 and Windows 2003
Experience working with Database Technology such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or IBM DB2
Ability to accurately determine customer and stakeholder needs
Strong analysis skills
Strong decision making abilities, problem resolution and negotiation skills
Experience working with highly technical personnel
Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of the organization
Excellent documentation skills
Excellent follow-up skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to travel up to 75%

This is a work-from-home position in the Seattle area with travel to the customer site and corporate headquarters as required.
