- C++ development experience (with a strong preference for MS Visual C++).
- Expert in regular expression construction, with fluency in HTML, JavaScript, PERL, and SQL.
- Understanding of basic HTTP protocol including its use of cookies, URL-encoding, authorization, etc.
- Understanding of networks: TCP/IP, routing, proxies, subnets, etc.
- DBMS experience, preferably MySQL or Oracle
- Familiarity with Window 2003 admininstration, problem determination, configuration.
- Experience/understanding of IIS
- Self starter - ability to take the initiative in order to get the job done.

A rare opportunity! WebFeat, a small business provider of patent-pending Knowledge Prism technology for academic, public, corporate and government libraries currently has a position for a Software Development Engineer.
We are looking a talented engineer, up to the challenge and adventure of a small business environment, with the initiative necessary to produce in a work-at-home environment.
As this is a work-at-home position, applicant needs a high speed Internet connection and a computer adequately configured for software development. We're looking for self-motivated people who are drawn to the adventure of a small business environment.
Note: All applicants will be required to take a test to demonstrate their technical proficiency.
