Successful candidates will be responsible for developing large scale application systems in a multi-tiered, JAVA/J2EE environment.
Responsibilities:
* Play a critical technical role in the design &development of major and complex web financial applications utilizing Java, J2EE, XML and Struts.
* Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors.
* Design platforms, write codes, and develop tests.
* Lead multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis.
* Act as a technical leader and provide training and technical guidance to the junior developers to provide technical resolution to address complex business problems.
* Design, develop and implement strategic database solutions.
* Research, design, develop and test production processes.
* Resolve complex problems to ensure smooth and accurate implementation.
* Design end-to-end web applications which drive strategy and model implementation.
* Work on concurrent ad-hoc development requests from various team members
* Interact with peers and local engineers to provide production support to the web applications.
* Interact with business users and project managers to meet project goals and business requirements.
Qualifications Required:
* Advanced Technical Programming Skills in JAVA, J2EE, STRUTS frame using Websphere and Weblogic application sever
* Advance Technical Programming skills using HTML, JSP, XML, JAVA
* Advanced Technical Programming Skills in UNIX and Oracle platform
* Experienced in large scale Database Design &Management
* Experience including database design and implantations
* Strong ability to lead critical project teams and manage multiple project deadlines and deliverables
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface with a wide range of groups in a dynamic work environment
* Proven leadership and problem solving skills
* Strong ability to work in fast paced, matrixed environment
* Must have at least 5 years of Java/J2EE, XML, Struts and Oracle.
* Must have solid working experience with system/application integration, including backend integration with databases, mainframes, and messaging infrastructure
* Must have 5+ years of experience working with and integrating with web-tier infrastructure such as web servers, load balancers, firewalls.
* Must have B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Equivalent.
* Graduate program preferred, not required
