Senior Sales Engineer

Our Fairfield County client, a leading provider of Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) technology solutions and a growing leader in the emerging SOA/Web Services Market, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to help develop the companys base of enterprise customers and strategic ISV partners. Key responsibilities include delivering product demonstrations; serving as the technical interface to clients; delivering technical sales training; and assisting in responding to RFPs. This position includes a bonus/commission back-end in addition to the base salary. There is a potential for up to 60% travel. This person will work from Home Office is an option, provided the location is in NY, MA, CT, NJ or PA.
A BS in Computer Science or a related discipline is required. Proven knowledge and 4-6 years of experience in the software industry and with Enterprise software applications is required. Prior Sales Engineer experience is a must. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a solid technical foundation with a combination of Web Services, Application Integration, Java, BPEL and Workflow/Business Process Management.
