JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position has two primary responsibilities (1) prospect, contact, and contract new accounts, and (2) maintain on-going high-level account relations in order to assure successful implementation and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities. The term field service and support solutions refers to Endeavor s wholesale professional services that are made available to assist carriers, service providers, VoIP providers, systems integrators, and VARs deliver services to their customers on a transactional basis. Services include the installation and repair of telecommunications equipment and premise cabling throughout North America, configuration/staging and shipping of networking equipment, and 24x7 Tier I/II technical support. The initial focus of this position will be creating a book of business that will generate a minimum revenue quota in the first twelve months of employment.

The Senior Account Executive must work closely with sales/business development staff and sales engineering to gather customer/prospect requirements, develop suggested service solutions, and generate pricing proposals. The Account Executive must be able to take a consultative sales approach to identifying prospect needs, tailoring Endeavor services to those needs within the confines of Endeavor s labor and contractor cost model, revise proposal templates which clearly define the benefits of the service offering, and negotiate a Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work Addendum (SOW) which creates the longest sustained profit for Endeavor while building value for the client. After a client contracts with Endeavor, the Account Executive must work with the client, Sales Engineering, and Account Management to make certain that the services delivered are provided with the service levels committed and in a manner that is profitable to Endeavor.

After kick-off of a new account, the day-to-day management of the account will be transferred to an inside Account Manager leaving the Account Executive available to pursue new business. The Account Manager supporting the Senior Account Executive s clients works with sales staff, IT staff, and operations departmental managers on a daily basis. Operations departments include Service Provisioning and Service Delivery. Service Provisioning is responsible for scheduling field engineers to perform inside wiring and telecom equipment installations throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. Service Delivery operates 24x7 and is charged with providing technical support to field service technicians, providing out-sourced Tier I/II technical support to customer end-users, configuring and shipping equipment, and quality assurance.

The expectation is that the Senior Account Executive would have a thorough understanding of the telecommunications industry. Candidates with an appreciable understanding of physical layer (low-voltage wiring/ structured cabling), IP communications, networking, xDSL, T1, T3, and VoIP are preferred. Candidates with an existing network of contacts within the industry are strongly preferred. Furthermore, the Senior Account Executive must be expert in both spoken and written English as customer interaction and business writing are significant aspects of the position s responsibilities.

The Senior Account Executive must sign a non-disclosure agreement as well as a non-solicitation agreement which excludes the individual from selling or assisting any entity from selling field services, order fulfillment logistics, and technical support to Endeavor clients and prospects. The Senior Account Executive must be dedicated to maximizing his/her value at Endeavor and is, therefore, expected to focus on his/her employment obligations with Endeavor as his/her sole business activity.

Work hours are flexible, but generally considered to be 9 AM 6 PM (home location), Monday Friday. Required travel is expected to be less than 20% after initial training in Atlanta, GA. Staff not in Atlanta may work from home. Staff in Atlanta will work from an Endeavor office.

Endeavor Telecom is headquartered in Atlanta GA, but conducts business throughout North America. Endeavor's focus is providing field installation, repair, maintenance, order fulfillment, and outsourced support services to telephone companies nationwide. Endeavor's work is principally related to xDSL, T1, telecommunications inside wiring, and VoIP in both the commercial and residential environments.

Endeavor's Technical and Logistics facility is located off of I-75 near Windy Hill Rd. This is the location of employment for the Central Operations Support.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor s (or Master s) Degree.
Preferred Major: Business Administration, Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or Mathematics.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

8+ years of relevant work experience in sales/ business development.
Strongly prefer sales experience in providing wholesale services or products within the telecommunications industry.
Strongly prefer sales experience in provisioning services and/or product to carriers, service providers, or VARs.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Proven sales ability and account generation of 4MM+ per year.
Ability to cold-call and convert C-level executives.
Ability to communicate clearly in standard written and oral English.
Business &technical writing.
Ability to learn complex technical information very quickly.
Ability to work and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence &professionalism.
Computer technology and data networking background.
Low-voltage (telecommunications) Inside Wiring (IW)/ Structured Cabling background is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of xDSL, T1, and DS3 is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of VoIP (SIP Trunking &Hosted PBX) is preferred, but not required.

Compensation ($120,000 to $250,000+ per year):

Base Salary + Performance Commission
Paid on the 1st and 15th of each month
15 days paid vacation, personal time off.
After 90 days of employment, Endeavor provides 100% of a comprehensive employee benefit plan for the individual employee, including medical and dental insurance. The employee is responsible for payment of dependent coverage on the company plan.
