Cars.com has an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the exploding category of online advertising. We are the fastest growing, online, automotive marketplace for buyers, dealers and private-party sellers and looking for a dynamic individual to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and aggressively grow sales in designated geography through prospecting, cold calls and relationship development.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through effective account management and service. Ensure their understanding of our products.
Up sell dealer customers with new products and services.
Maintain a high level of customer service through training and customer support.
Ensure current dealer satisfaction by responding quickly and accurately to dealer problems, concerns or needs.
Develop relationships with dealers and dealer groups. Leverage these relationships to maximize revenue opportunities.
Help proactively market cars.com to dealers in territory and convey the advantages of cars.com.
Live in market area while working out of home office. Candidates will work from home and be responsible for attaining specific revenue and account base goals.
Manage and grow the effective retail rates.
Manage and monitor all contracts, as well as accounts receivable.
Requirements:
2 to 6 years of solid account management and sales experience. Media experience is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with the Market and the community's dealer base preferred but not required.
A proven outside sales and account management track record.
Some college preferred.
