The RN Claims Analyst position is a new and unique role that would allow you apply your clinical expertise to solving high-dollar claims and billing problems. Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and analyzing medical claims, records and invoices to identify high-value ($200,000+) billing inconsistencies
Comparing the services/treatments administered by hospitals with the related bill that was received
Using your clinical knowledge to develop reasons and hypotheses for various billing issues
Finding errors, documenting them, and relaying the issues to the appropriate party for resolution
Adjusting and reverting previous and current billing patterns based on your analysis
