Job Title: Retail Sales Representative
Job Location: For the Solano County, CA (Napa, Calistoga, Sonoma, Fairfield) Area
** This is a field based (work from home) position but the candidate must live within the Solano County, CA defined territory (Napa, Calistoga, Sonoma, Fairfield)
Job Description:
Nestl Waters North America, the nation's largest bottled water company, is currently seeking a Sales Representative for Retail Sales. This position entails developing NWNA sales within a specified geography and group of accounts. Account types will vary by geography. This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing sales within existing accounts and acquiring new accounts (distribution) throughout geography.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Direct communication with various retail stores within different channels and associated store personnel who impact our products in each account.
-Retail Customer Selling ' calling on, and selling to, assigned retail stores to ensure store level conditions meet or exceed our standards.
-Some activities include: shelf conditions, distribution, resets, display support, rack/cooler management, retail pricing and secondary product location.
-Miscellaneous administrative functions &meetings
-Some physical demands include: moderate physical effort on occasion, occasional prolonged standing/walking, and occasionally lifting supplies/equipment
-Ability to see clearly at 20 feet or more, ability to judge distance and space relationships and ability to adjust vision to bring objects into focus
Qualifications:
-Ability to analyze sales and market share data to determine issues and opportunities at the retail level.
-Ability to calculate profit margin on Nestle Waters and competitive products, share of shelf analysis and SKU level sales trends.
-Ability to proactively recognize and react to competitive initiatives while implementing approved Nestle Waters' programs at agreed upon levels.
-Ensure Nestle Waters achieves our sales objectives in the areas of promotions, new item authorization, distribution, resets, retail pricing targets and retail shelf space.
-Effective interpersonal communication skills including the following:
-Direct communication with direct manager on current retail conditions, business objectives and results, opportunities and plans to execute opportunities and key business issues.
-Direct communication with peers on approved key account plans and business results/objectives.
-In-direct and occasional direct communication with cross-functional staff on business status, retail conditions and retail work-withs.
