POSITION: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER, CABLE, NORTHEASTERN U.S.
REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CABLE SALES
Balionis Group, Inc. is well known for providing product development engineers and sales personnel to a variety of high technology firms.
We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager for a direct placement opening within our client base.
Our client is a leading provider of hardware and software network assurance testing solutions for the global telecommunications and cable broadband industries.
Our client designs, engineers, markets and supports test systems, test access and status monitoring products which enable telephone and cable operators to efficiently manage their networks in an age of increased competition, continually evolving technology and ongoing pressure to control or reduce costs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and execute sales of our products and/or services to cable MSOs within the territory
o Establish and execute territory sales account plans
o Identify and qualify sales opportunities
o Maintain accurate sales funnel
o Construct and execute detailed and reliable sales forecasts
Maintain customer relationships at all levels
Independent Rep firm management, as required
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
Bachelors of Science Degree, or related experience
A thorough understanding of account management process and relationship to business objectives
Minimum of five years experience and a proven record of success in sales management to cable MSOs within the territory
Technical competence working with products comparable in complexity and scope to those of the Company s cable solutions portfolio.
Excellent presentation and contract negotiation skills.
Ability and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work from home office.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Working knowledge of DOCSIS, HFC and IP Network topology, including DOCSIS, VoIP, Power Supplies, Optical Nodes, CMTS, and Soft-Switch/Routers.
