REGIONAL SALES MANAGER PA/OH
FETCO is a leading innovator of products for the beverage industry. We manufacture coffee and tea equipment sold into the foodservice industry.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and the sales activities within the specified region. The Region consists primarily of Ohio and Pennsylvania. The position reports directly to the Director of Sales based in Lake Zurich, IL.
1. Planning:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing an annual Sales Plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with all of the functional departments of the company.
The Regional Sales Manager, in coordination with the Director of Sales, establishes both market and target customer strategies for the Region.
2. Execution
This position is responsible for the successful management of the needs of the Company's customers in order to meet the objectives of the company's business plans and strategies.
The Regional Sales Manager manages all of the field sales functions of The Company's sales in the Region.
The Regional Sales Manager defines and manages the monthly and annual sales objectives for the Region.
The Regional Sales Manager is expected to spend a significant portion of time in the field with individual accounts.
The Regional Sales Manager will work from a home based office in Pennsylvania, Ohio, or Kentucky.
The Regional Sales Manager is expected to be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies of the coffee and tea industry as well as the foodservice industry.
The Regional Sales Manager develops and maintains a computerized customer and prospect ACT database.
The Regional Sales Manager maintains existing customer accounts and develops new customer accounts through planned activity and support of the Sales Plan objectives.
The Regional Sales Manager monitors and reports on sales activities and provides forecasting and relevant information to management.
Skills
Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
Is highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
The ability to sell on value and offer solutions to the customer.
Is highly computer literate and uses sales database tracking programs. Experience with ACT and Microsoft Office.
Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Equally strong listening skills.
Ability to work with top level executives.
Ability to prospect, track sales, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Experience:
4 year college degree.
Experience selling commercial foodservice equipment.
Background selling directly to corporate accounts.
Experience working with wholesale distributors and dealers.
Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned Region.
