National K-12 Program Director: Unique Flexible Opportunity to Make a Difference
National Education Foundation (NEF) CyberLearning (www.cyberlerning.org), the national nonprofit leader in bridging the digital and academic divides, has launched a national program to set up CyberLearning Academies in the Nations disadvantaged schools in order to improve the math and technology skills of our students, so that they can compete with their counterparts in India, China etc. for well-paying jobs.
The CyberLearning Academies offer an integrated holistic solution consisting of 3,000 high quality web-based online courses in K-8 Math, Digital Literacy, IT skills (including 60 certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, CompTia etc.), Business skills (including PMP certification) and SAT, 24/7 live instant online mentoring/tutoring, teacher stipends, student rewards, parent motivational awards and a state-of-the-art LMS (Learning Management System) capable of student activity tracking, student progress tracking and instant report generation. The Foundation seeks a national director to direct the CyberLearning Academy program:
Job requirements: To direct and train school district CyberLearning Academy directors in integrating the CyberLearning courses into the classroom curriculum courses in math, technology, business and SAT, and manage the evaluation and incentives programs. Willing to travel to states, especially LA, FL, NY and MS, and spend a week or two at these locations at a time.

Qualifications: Above all you must be:
Creative, dynamic and very passionate about helping children learn and in making a difference. Passion and persistence are very important.
Have a minimum of 2 years experience in K-12 curriculum, professional development, project management, use of technology in the classroom, integrating math, IT and business courses into the classroom courses, and IT skills including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Internet research.
An excellent motivator and communicator. Must have people skills. Experience with the Teach for America program desirable.
Compensation: Commensurate with qualifications. Selected candidates will also receive 24x7 unlimited access to $2,500 worth of high quality online IT, management, business, math and SAT courses and 24x7 live instant online mentoring.
