The Boston Phoenix
Boston, Mass./Providence, RI/New York City/New England work-at-home
Here s what we are looking for:
A sharp, hard charging and polished advertising sales rep with the ability to sell advertising to folks like Starbucks, American Apparel and Snapple (and their advertising agencies) on behalf of The Phoenix and our national network of alternative publications.
You will start with a base of existing clients and a target list of prospective clients we want you to generate revenue from. You will also be able to chase new business opportunities as well.
You will spend your time primarily with ad agencies for national brands in helping them understand the value our publications can bring to their clients as well as understanding the clients needs and objectives.
You can work from our Boston or Providence offices or work from home at other locations throughout New England and the NYC metro area. Travel will be in the 10-20% range, primarily in the Northeast.
The ideal person:
A top-notch, aggressive sales rep with at least 5 years of advertising sales experience
The ability to do presentations and proposals at top regional and national agencies
The presence to work with the top advertising/marketing folks at brand name companies
The experience meeting and exceeding your advertising sales targets
Locations: Boston, near Fenway Park
Providence, downtown
NYC or elsewhere, work from home
