Ministry Development Officer To interested commercial lending officers: My name is Tracey Smith and I am an Executive Recruiter based in Evergreen, CO. I have the distinct honor and pleasure of representing a Credit Union who is seeking a lender specialized in church and ministry lending. The incumbent must be located in the market up to one hour away. They will consider someone who moved away and would like to return to the Orlando area. Skill Requirements for your Success!! ' Strong commercial real estate lending experience ' Experience with church and ministry lending and working with pastors ' Ability to work independently with lots of support from the corporate HQ ' Bondable ' Ideal candidate will be able to bring with them a book of business, contacts and the ability to produce a minimum of $50MM per year in church lending ' Must possess all the skills of a good sales person: good listener, self-motivated, handles objections by picking yourself up and staying focused on hitting goals, has a heart for ministry lending, patient, professional and persistent. Seeks first to understand client's needs, and then presents solutions. ' This is primarily an origination position; however, you will see the whole relationship through from start until you originate the next loan with your client. Keep that relationship strong. Expectations for this position: There will be benchmarks set up between the incumbent and the Credit Union based on anticipated production. Average sales cycle is six months, so it is important to keep that pipeline full. Goal is to exceed your draw in commissions after one year. There will be constant communications with the supervisor on production and expectations throughout the first year. Must have first loan closed in six months, ideally sooner, and a full book of business by the first year. Compensation: The compensation is dependent upon your experience level in this market, incumbent's current compensation and anticipated production for the first year. They offer a guaranteed salary the first year with commissions. Lenders for this Credit Union make over $100K.
