Job Description; Imagine yourself
Working from home
Typing hospital reports including progress notes, history and physicals, consults, operative reports, discharge summaries, emergency reports as well has rehab
Working for an organization that offers hospital-sponsored continuing education courses as well as further education through outside courses
With an opportunity to enhance your acute care knowledge within a large healthcare system
General Qualifications;
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a medical transcription or medical secretarial course
Minimum one year of experience directly related to medical transcription in a hospital setting
Desired Qualifications;
Membership in the American Association for Medical Transcription and/or Certified Medical Transcriptionist status would be a definite asset
